Shirley J. Imes, 82, of Mifflin, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home.
Born Nov. 27, 1941, in Walnut, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Bessie
(Whistler) Beverlin.
She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Imes, whom she married Sept. 13, 1973; four
children, Kelly Yetter, of Mifflin, Randy Peterson of Newport, Pamela Harry of
Shippensburg and Tammy Steensma of Ore., one brother, Roy C. Beverlin, of
Springville, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee
Beverlin and Harvey C. Beverlin.
Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook.
