King-Barr Funeral Home.
Ann L. James, 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at
Locust Grove Retirement Village. She was the wife of the late Brantley James.
Born on October 22, 1925 in Granville, she was a daughter of the late Dale Foltz and
Anna Knox. In addition to her husband and parents, Ann is preceded in death by son,
Gary James; sister, Edwina Hess and brothers, Eugene, Gerald, and Robert Foltz. Ann
is survived by her sons, Lance and Richie James; sisters, Dorothea Shawver, Florence
Bilger, Geraldine Miller, and Jacqueline Boyden.
Burial in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
