Michael ‘Big Mike’ Allan Kalin

Michael “Big Mike” Allan Kalin, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:09 p.m.,
Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Nittany
Valley, Pleasant Gap.
Born Feb. 26, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Samuel and Helen
(Rotkin) Kalin.
He is survived by: wife, Jean (Gilliland) Kalin, whom he married June 11, 1972; son,
Nathan Kalin, of Arlington, Va.; daughter, Jen Tate of Lewistown and a sister, Rona
Moss of East Quogue, N.Y.
Interment in Ohev Shalom Cemetery, Lewistown.
