Mary J. Leister Kepner
July 13, 2023

Mary J. Leister Kepner, 86, of Mifflintown, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at
Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
She was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Lewistown.
She is survived by her second husband, David Leon Kepner whom she married June 27,
1991, five children, Steven “Jake” Leister, Teresa Avery, Michael Leister,  Marc
Leister, and Greg Leister.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John “Jake” Leister on April 9,
1987, her parents, Walter Edward and Stella Margarite (Peck) Harris, and one sister,
Eleanor Eaton.
