Savilla Nancy (Kanagy) King passed Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, after nearly 96 years.
Born March 2, 1928, to Pius and Mary (Yoder) Kanagy, she was the last of her
immediate family including six brothers, David, Attrentis, Paul, Chester, Pius Jr,
and Titus.
On March 22, 1952, she married John L. King, who preceded her in death on Feb. 25,
2003. Also preceding her in death was an infant daughter, Debra.
Surviving are children: Maretta Barr of Spain, Pamela Laughlin of Dayton, Ohio,
Catherine Terry (William) of Trinity, Ala., Barbara Peachey of Belleville, Nancy
Martin of Stuart, Fla., Rebecca Ulmer of Belleville, Paul King of Milton, Dale King
of Belleville, Savilla Peachey of Allensville, and Emily King of Allensville
Burial in Locust Grove Cemetery.
