Lewistown Sentinel - May 8, 2023
Spangler E. “Sonny” Knepp Jr., 65, formerly of McVeytown, went to be with the Lord
on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
Born Dec. 11, 1957, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Spangler E. and Isabel I.
(Seaholtz) Knepp Sr.
Also preceding him in death were four siblings: Martha Ross, Carol Snyder, Sandy
Smith, and Joy Kahley.
Surviving are: four siblings, Bonnie Shawver of Longfellow, Timothy Knepp, of
Mifflin, Mona Knepp, of Lewistown, Scott Knepp and wife, Charlotte, of Lewistown;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023,
at the Mattawana Cemetery in McVeytown.
