John Paul Kriauckas

John Paul Kriauckas, 95, of Bellefonte, passed away at 7 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 5,
2023, at Centre Care, Bellefonte.
Born July 26, 1928, in Clymer, Indiana County, he was a son of the late Anthony and
Anna C. (Gudiatis) Kriauckas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by ten siblings.
Surviving are two sisters, Susan Newman, of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Beatrice Runnion,
of Decatur, Ga.
John was inducted into the U.S. Army after graduation and was assigned to the 102nd
Infantry Regiment, 43rd Division in Germany from Dec. 1950 to Nov. 1952. 
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lewistown,
Interment in the Church of the Resurrection Cemetery in Clymer.
