William Alton ‘Red’ Lauver

William Alton “Red” Lauver, 86, formerly of Mifflin, passed away Wednesday, March
20, 2024 at Maple Farm, Akron, PA.
Born Jan. 10, 1938 in Milford Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late
Charles Ernest and Mary E. (Woodward) Lauver. His wife, Lois “Jenny” Lauver, whom he
married July 11, 1981, died Sept. 5, 2018.
In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother,
Karl Lauver, four sisters, Marilyn Lauver, Lois Bupp, Anna Gross, and Mary Jane
Fogleman.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1958 to 1960.
Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook
