Lorraine Mae ‘Rainy’ Lauver

Lorraine Mae “Rainy” Lauver, 86, of McAlisterville, passed away at 1 a.m., Sunday,
June 16, 2024, at Valley View Haven in Belleville.
Born on March 11, 1938, in McAlisterville, she is a daughter of the late Marlin
Samuel and Laura Emma (Ehrisman) Potter. On Nov. 13, 1955, she married her late
husband, Robert Emory “Red” Lauver, with whom she was blessed to share over 66 years
of marriage before his passing on June 8, 2022.
Surviving are her children, Douglas Lauver of McAlisterville, Gregory Lauver of
Congress, Ariz., Sheree Brogan of Richfield, and Jeffrey Lauver of McAlisterville;
one brother, Dale Potter of New Bloomfield.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three
brothers, Roger Potter, Roy Potter, and Donald Potter; and one sister, Lois Potter.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in McAlisterville.
