Donald L. Leister, formerly of McCoysville, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024
at 12:26 p.m. at his residence in Bellefonte. 
Born June 16, 1944 in Tuscarora, Juniata County he was the son of the late Banks and
Alice (Lane) Leister. His wife, Nancy (Hockenberry) Leister preceded him in death on
February 6, 2010. 
He is survived by his children, Angela Swanger of Bellefonte and Tara Leister.
Donald is also survived by a sister, Connie Dalton. 
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald
Leister, Jr. and siblings Maxine Leister, Norman Leister, Jim Leister, Glenn
Leister, Clifford Leister and Joan Prye.
Donald was a proud member of the Army National Guard 
Interment in East Waterford Cemetery, East Waterford.
