Margaret S. “Margie” Lowrey, 80, of Mifflintown, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at
Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 21, 1942 in Dogtown, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Clayton
and Rebecca (Barefoot) Wagner, Sr. Her husband of 54 years, Jackson “Jack” C.
Lowrey, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1960, died on Nov. 16, 2014.
She is survived by three children, Joanne M. White of Harrisburg, Doug J. Lowrey of
Mifflin and Tammy S. Ehrenzeller of Port Royal, one sister, Rebecca “Becky”
O’Donnell of Mifflintown,
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother,
Clayton Wagner, Jr. and one sister, Sara Yorks.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Mifflintown,
Interment in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown
