Doris K. “Dorie” Mackneer, 73, of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at
her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born July 22, 1949, in Mattawana, she was a daughter of the late Allen C. and Carrie
(Miller) Johnson. Her beloved husband of 50 years, Larry N. Mackneer, whom she
married Sept. 5, 1970, passed away on Jan. 12, 2021.
Surviving are one brother, Marlin Johnson and wife, Judy, two sisters, Dorothy “Sis”
Grove and husband, Bill, and Barbara Rothrock and husband, Bill.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two
brothers, Marvin Johnson and Cecil Johnson.
