Jan 30, 2024
Myrle Margaret Madtes, 91, of Reedsville, passed away at 10 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23,
2024, at her home. Born July 1, 1932, in Andreas, Schuylkill County, she was a
daughter of the late Clair and Verna (Gilbert) Messerschmidt. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clayton Madtes Sr.
Myrle is survived by: children, Brenda Coulter, of Reedsville, and Dr. Paul C.
Madtes Jr., of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Interment at Bethany United Methodist Cemetery in Wescosville, Lehigh County, Pa.
