Ivan M. McGary, 77, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023 at his
home.
Born June 7, 1946 in Erhard, PA, he was the son of the late Henry and Geraldine
(Mactavish) McGary. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a
sister, Clara Barney, and brothers, Robert McGary and Thomas McGary.
Ivan is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Biss) McGary; children, Steven McGary,
of Lewistown, Ivy Harding of Easton, Adam McGary of Charlotte, NC, Lois Eyer of
Lewistown, Louise Buendia  of Altoona, Sherry Jenkins of Strodes Mills, Clara McCall
of Apex, NC, and Carla Franek of Clearfield; siblings, Irvin McGary, of Clearfield,
Sherry Lewis, of Florida, and Dick “Mike” McGary, of New Jersey
