John H. Mellinger

John H. Mellinger, 62, of North Walnut St., Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, June
8, 2023 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Jan. 29, 1961 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Clarence R. Mellinger and
the late Ida C. (Shilling) Wheeler. His wife, Laurie D. (Yoder) Mellinger, whom he
married May 26, 1989, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Ethan E. Mellinger of Lewistown; four siblings, Robert E.
Mellinger and wife Jane of Lewistown, Richard A. Mellinger and wife Peggy of
Lewistown, Gina M. Spagnoletti and husband John of Burnham, and Leon “Buzz” Kulp of
Lewistown.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Joseph Mellinger.
