Ronald L. “Herbie” Moist, 75, of McVeytown, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024
at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Dec. 23, 1948, in Ryde, he was a son of the late Robert Roy Moist Sr. and Irene
(Kauffman) Moist. His wife, Roberta L. “Bobbi” (Royer) Moist, whom he married June
1, 1982, preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 2018.
He is survived by his three daughters, Melissa Goss, Amy Bailey, Nevada Hostetler,
all of McVeytown; brother Robert Roy Moist Jr. of Gettysburg; and sister Barbara
Kulp of Juniper, Fla.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
