Maxwell Retired, from Weis Markets, Mount Union Mabel B. Maxwell, 93, of 4857 U.S. Highway 522 South, McVeytown, and formerly of Newton Hamilton and Bradenton, Fla., died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Robert Knable, with whom she resided. She was born June 19, 1913, in Perry County, a daughter of the late David B. and Anna (Collins) Yetter. She was married to Harry W. Maxwell Feb. 10, 1934, in Allentown. He preceded her in death July 5, 1988. Mrs. Maxwell is survived by two children: Doris Knable and husband, Robert, McVeytown; and Raymond B. Maxwell and wife, Nancy, Bradenton, Fla. There are seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great- great-granddaughter. The following brothers and sisters survive: Warren Yetter, Boston, N.Y.; Raymond Yetter, McVeytown; John Yetter, Elizabethville; Lena Iddings, Silverdale, Wash.; and Mary Yohn, Palmyra. Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Terri Jo Knable, and two brothers and two sisters, Paul Yetter, Clair Yetter, Huldah Swartz and Helen Kane. Mrs. Maxwell attended the Bradenton Church of God. She retired in 1976 from Weis Markets, Mount Union. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union. Officiating will be Pastors Phil May and John Briggs. Interment will be made in the Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
