BELLEVILLE.

  On last Sunday evening our community was again visited by the grim 
destroyer death, who chose for his victim Miss Jennie May, daughter of S. R. 
and Axie Peters.  Jennie was an exemplary young lady, thoroughly Christian 
in spirit, just and upright in all her walk and conversation, thus endearing 
herself to all who knew her; just such a young lady as every community 
stands in need of, and for that reason will not only be missed by her 
mourning relatives, but by the entire community.  We tend our heart felt 
sympathy to the family in this their time of sorrow and great bereavement.

PETERS. - In Union township, Jan. 3, 1897, Juniata May, daughter of S. 
Russell and Acsah Peters, aged 19 years, 6 months and 12 days.
