Elsie Lou Rowles, 84, formerly of Lewistown, went to be with her Lord on Monday,
June 10, 2024 at her granddaughter’s home in York.
Born July 8, 1939, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and
Esther (Lykens) Stryker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her husband Randall Rowles, children, David Rowles and Sue Fortson, brothers, Paul,
David, and John Stryker, and sisters, Laura Wagner and Lois Wagner.
Lou is survived by her son, Paul Rowles of Lewistown, and siblings, Wallace Stryker
of McVeytown, Gary Stryker, of Lewistown, Esther Rushin, of Missouri, and Bonnie
Stryker, of Lewistown.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday June 13, 2024, at Lind
Memorial Cemetery,
