LLOYD RHOADES DEAD.

Special to the Tribune.
Vineyard, Pa., August 15. - Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Hooker Rhoades are in
receipt of a letter from the war department at Washington, announcing
the death of their son, Lloyd Rhoades, in France, July 29.  The letter
says he died facing the enemy and was buried with military honors.  The
young soldier left here as a draftee last December and a wife and babe
survive him.
