Mr. Rhodes had been in failing health the past two years. He was born at Burnham on December 22, 1919, a son of the late Oscar F. and Eva C. (Erb) Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes is survived by his wife, the former Addie Jeanette Stine, and five children: Mrs. James (Patricia) Rhoades and Carl J. Rhodes, both of Lewistown; Robert W. Rhodes, of Lancaster; and Misses Janie L. and Connie A. Rhodes at home. Brothers and sisters surviving are: Mrs. Lee (Nelda) Kauffman of Mapleton Depot, Huntingdon County; Clyde L. Rhodes, of Burnham; Mrs. Herbert {Ethel) Miller, of Lewistown; Frank E. Rhodes, address unknown; Stanley I. Rhodes, of Lewistown; Mrs. Luther (Dorothy) Ritter of Levittown, Bucks County; Clifford V. Rhodes, of Burnham; Mrs. John (Mildred) Sirgey of Lewistown R.D. 2; Jack C. Rhodes, of Lewistown, and Max E. Rhodes of Croydon, Bucks County. Four grandchildren are living. Mr. Rhodes was employed in the spinning department at the American Viscose Corporation.
