Charles S. ‘Steve’ Schwarz

Charles S. “Steve” Schwarz, formerly of Reedsville, passed away on Saturday, Nov.
18, 2023, at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
Born Sept. 30, 1936 in Mt. Union, he was the son of the late Stephen and Hulda
(Sipes) Bryner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his
sister, Sharon Schwarz.
Steve is survived by his wife, Leona (Freed) Schwarz, whom he married on June 10,
1961, daughters, Marcia Larson, of Lewistown, Stephanie Hopkins of Harrisburg and
half-sister, Jeanne Boone.
He honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Marines Corps.
He was a member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church.
Burial in Juniata Memorial Park.
