Esther M. Sechrist

Esther M. Sechrist, 89, of  McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June
15, 2023 at her home.
Born March 7, 1934 in Alfarata, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary
A. (Fye) Henry. Her husband, Ralph W. “Henry” Sechrist, whom she married July 2,
1954, preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2011.
Also preceding her in death were six siblings, Violet Frye, Beatrice Steele, Rella
Clinger, Charles “Russ” Henry, Gerald Henry, and Herbert Henry.
Surviving are: three children, Robert P. Sechrist and wife, Gail, of Indiana,
Michael A. Sechrist and wife, Marjorie, of Mill Hall, Tangeline F. Sechrist, of
McVeytown.
She was a member of the Spring Run Church of the Brethren
Interment in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
