Dale S. Shelley, 91, of McAlisterville, passed away at 1:26 a.m. on Thursday, Sept.
21, 2023, at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg.
Born Jan. 15, 1932, in Evendale, Juniata County, he is a son of the late Oscar and
Elva (Smith) Shelley. On Oct. 7, 1950, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in
McAlisterville, he married his late wife, Donna L. (Fogleman) Shelley.
He is survived by his children, Randall L. Shelley of Mechanicsburg, Steven S.
Shelley of Everett, and Dana L. Passmore of Mechanicsburg; one brother, Leo Shelley
of Lancaster and one sister, Ruthann Smith of McAlisterville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael D.
Shelley and one sister, Faye Bitting.
Mr. Shelley proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy from June 15, 1949 to April
10, 1953, during the Korean War.
He attended the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in McAlisterville
 Interment in the Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville
