Elona T. Shirk, 90, passed on Sat, Dec 2, 2023, at her home near Port Royal.
Born January 30, 1933, in York, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Martha
(Smith) Thompson. Her husband, James Y. Shirk, whom she married May 28, 1955, passed
away September 26, 2014. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Tammy J.
Shirk, sister, Sonia Bennett, and two brothers, Robert Thompson and Thomas
Thompson.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald J. Shirk, and Glenn D. Shirk, all of Port
Royal,
Burial in sNew Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal,
