Stella Shuey, 99, of McVeytown, passed away Sept 13, 2023.
Born May 17, 1924, in Mattawana, she was the daughter of the late Pansy (Wincer) and
Harry Smith.
She is survived by one sibling, Eva Romick and she is preceded in death by seven
siblings, Marie Claybaugh, Carrie Gage, Violet Searer, Rhoda Peachey, Lorraine
Kauffman, Ernest Smith and Hazel Breckville.
She married Richard “Dick” Charles Beatty on Nov. 22, 1946, and she is survived by
their four children, Sandra Rohrer, John Beatty, Brenda Reid and Sharon
Langenfelder. Her beloved Dick passed away on Sept. 19, 1963.
Stella then married Junior C. Shuey of Ono, Pa., on Nov. 22, 1975, who preceded her
in death on Dec. 25, 2001.
She faithfully attended worship at both Ferguson Valley Brethren-in-Christ Church
and Pine Glen Alliance Church.
Interment in Lind Memorial Cemetery,  Lewistown
