James D. “Buck” Smith, 77, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday Dec. 27, 2023 at
his home.
Born Oct. 21, 1946 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harold Smith and Flossie
“Birdie” (McMaster) Ritenour. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in
death by his wife, Judi (Druckemiller) Smith.
Buck is survived by his children, Shana Smith, of Pittsburgh, Nichole Prescott of
Lewistown, Briana O’Dell of Pittsburgh, Billi Hess, of McClure, Mercedes (Madera)
Lauver of Lewistown, and his sister, Elaine Lyter, of Burnham.
