Richard C. Smith, 83, formerly of Mifflintown, PA passed away peacefully on
Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Transitions Healthcare Allens Cove, Duncannon, PA.
Born September 10, 1940 in Lewistown, he is a son of the late F. Paul “Doggie” Smith
and Kathleen E. “Kate” (Beward) Smith. 

On June 9, 1962, he married Wanda L. Beale with whom he shared over 36 years of
marriage before her passing on September 25, 1998. 

On December 18, 1999 Rich married Rita E. (Keister) Smith whom he shared over 11
years of marriage before her passing on May 4, 2011.

Surviving are a son, Douglas S. Smith, of Millerstown, sister, Kathleen A. McCoy of
Reedsville, brother, Franklin P. Smith, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, brother, David L.
Smith, sister, Christie L. Yorks all of Mifflintown.

Rich was preceded in death by sister, Lucinda Kay Smith on August 30, 1940.

Interment in the McCoysville Cemetery, McCoysville.
