Betty B. (Sechrist) Sunderland, 96, McVeytown, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at
Hershey Medical Center. Born Nov. 16, 1927, in Newton Hamilton, the daughter of the
late Albert C. and Clara C. (Pollock) Sechrist.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse L. Sunderland, whom she married on
Sept. 12, 1947. Also preceded by daughter, Bonnie K. Taylor and son, Eugene J.
Sunderland; siblings, Raymond, Mervin, Ralph, Daniel and Roy Sechrist and Dona J.
“Tub” Hesser. Survived by children, Irene Wyland and Lester M. Sunderland; siblings,
Dorothy Gladfelder and Robert “Mick” Sechrist 
Interment in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
