J. Ronald Swanger, 83, of Lewistown, passed away on Friday Nov. 17, 2023, at William
Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 3, 1940 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Kiper)
Swanger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife,
Patricia (Wertz) Swanger, and a daughter, Kimberly Shawver.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Linda Piper and Suzanne Shoemaker, all of
Lewistown and a brother, Kenneth Swanger of Lewistown.
