Nancy L. Swarey, 88 years, four months of Allensville, passed away on Thursday, July
4, at her home at 3:15 p.m.
She was born March 4, 1936, to the late Emanuel, Mattie (Yoder) Peachey. She married
Stephen Swarey on Nov. 24, 1955, who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2006. In
addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother.
Surviving are seven children: David Swarey, Mattie Peachey,, both of Belleville,
Lydia Peachey, of Reedsville, Annie Yoder,, Esther Swarey, Jacob Swarey all of
Allensville, John Swarey, of Belleville; siblings: Lydia M. Peachey, of Belleville,
Jacob Peachey, of Belleville, Annie Detweiler of Indiana.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Interment in the Allensville Mennonite Cemetery.
