Lt. Col. (USMC Ret.) Charles E. Swisher, 84, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday,
Dec. 15, 2023, at Church of God Home.
He was born March 28, 1939, in Lewistown to the late Harold S. and Margaret
(Goodwin) Swisher.
Charles honorably served his country in the USMC.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Satsuki H. Swisher of Carlisle; three
children, Lisa Villanueva of Newport, Charles Swisher of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Jason
Swisher of Carlisle and one sister, Carole Campbell of Lewistown. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and John Swisher.
Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
