WILLIAM SAYERS.

  On Saturday William Sayers, brother of Mrs. William Temple, of this 
city, died at his home at Mattawana, Mifflin county, in his 60th year 
of diseases incident to old age.  He was well known and esteemed by 
all.  He is survived by his wife and one son, Bruce, an operator at 
McVeytown; also by four brothers, Henry, James, Jackson, of Mattawana, 
and John, of Kentucky; and two sisters, Mrs. Temple, of this city, and 
Mrs. Jane Shade, of Shade Gap.  The funeral will take place this 
morning.
