John W. Towsey

John W. Towsey, 78, of Port Royal, passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023 in Tuscarora
in the home where he was born.
Born Jan. 30, 1945, in Turbett Township, he was a son of the late Herman “Jack” W.
and Noreen (Fuller) Towsey.
He is survived by his wife, Gerri Kay (Wirt) Towsey, whom he married May 7, 1966,
two sons, John R. Towsey and Douglas C. Towsey and one brother Donald J. Towsey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Herman C.
Towsey.
John was a veteran of the Unted States Army, serving from 1962 to 1965.
He was a member of Port Royal Lutheran Church
