Lewistown Sentinel - May 12,  2023
Shirley A. Tyson, 85, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at William
Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Born  June 25, 1937, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and
Lucena (Barraclough) Kinser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; husband, Paul Garis Tyson;
and siblings, Sandy Moyle, Jim Kinser, and Robert Kinser.
She is survived by; two sons, Timothy P. Tyson and wife, Susie, of Lewistown, and
Kenneth D. Tyson, of Lewistown; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
siblings, Audrey Williamson, of Mifflintown, and Donald ‘Butch’ Kinser and wife,
Carmen, of Hershey.
Shirley was a member of Granville Brethren in Church
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
