James ‘Jim’ Thomas Uhring

James “Jim” Thomas Uhring, 64, of Bellefonte, peacefully passed away, while holding
his wife’s hand, on Thursday, July 20, 2023. He valiantly battled health issues for
over the past six years.
 Born on Jan. 15, 1959, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late John Uhring and
Imelda (Bridge) Uhring.
On Sept. 24, 1994, he married, Elise (North) Uhring, who survives at home.
In addition to his wife, Elise, he is survived by their two children, Andrew Uhring
of Washington D.C., and AnaLise Uhring, of Bellefonte, Also surviving is a brother,
Edward Uhring (Sharon) of Latrobe,
He was predeceased by two sisters, Monica Uhring and Joan Grubich, and a brother,
John Uhring.
