Dr. David Charles Underwood

Dr. David Charles Underwood, 67, passed away from a rare genetic disease called
“Huntington’s Disease”, on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital
with his life partner at his side.
He was born on Oct. 21, 1956 in Olewine, IA to the late Charles and Helen (Amundsen)
Underwood.
He is survived by one sister, Ann Albright of Arlington, Va. He is also survived by
his life partner, Carol Carp
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas
Underwood.
Dave served as a Colonel in the second Gulf War.
