WELL KNOWN HUNTER AND FISHERMAN DEAD

Special to the Tribune.
  Lewistown, September 6. - Obediah Umbarger, 86 years old, died here last 
night from diseases incident to the aged.  Deceased was born in Dauphin 
county and came here when a mere boy.  He was a veteran of the Civil war and 
one of the most widely known hunters and fishermen in the Juniata valley.  He 
spent the past several years at the county home, where his small pension 
covered all of his simple needs.
