Lewistown Sentinel - Apr 1, 2023
Cheryl G. (Voyles) Frankhouser, 59, passed away on March 23, 2023, in the home of
her daughter Dory in Lewistown, PA. She courageously fought a long seven month
battle with lung cancer.
Cheryl was born July 18, 1963, in Decatur, Illinois.
She moved to Lewistown, PA when she was five with her mother and brother.
She was a happy child growing up; she loved to collect all kinds of unique things.
One of her favorite collections were her lead crystal collection. She loved how the
sun shined through them and made rainbows on the walls in her home.
Cheryl was a proud grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. She loved spending
time with them playing, building forts, making cookies; she loved them so much.
Cheryl would go above and beyond for her children and her grandchildren even if it
took up all of her free time.
Cheryl was last employed at Ashers Chocolate. Her coworkers loved her sweet
personality and enjoyed the time that they worked with her.
She had such a big heart, always treating others how she would want to be treated
and willing to help anyone in need.
You may be gone from our sight, but forever in our hearts.
Cheryl is survived by her two children, Dory and Ben Frankhouser, three
grandchildren, Evan, Kylie, and Aliah Frankhouser; and her husband, Allan
Frankhouser.
Also surviving; her brother, Scott, his wife, Karla, and their daughter, Mya
Voyles.
