Lawrence “Larry” John Warholak, 73, passed away on March 17, 2023 in Virginia Beach,
Va surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born Oct. 31, 1949 to John and Velma Warholak in Lewistown, Pa. He was a
graduate of Lewistown High School in Pennsylvania.
Larry met the love of his life, Jacqueline Mauery, while attending Lewistown High
School.
After graduation, Larry went off to work in the ax factory in Lewistown, Pa prior to
attending Navy basic training, and Jacqueline attended Nursing School in Harrisburg,
Pa. The couple were married on June 19, 1971 in Pennsylvania.
The Warholak’s union brought forth two children, Brian and Jennifer. In his spare
time, Larry could be seen working in his yard, in his garage tinkering with things,
or chatting it up with his old buddies from USS Bluefish SSN 675, and planning his
Christmas gag gifts for his children and grandchildren.
In addition to being predeceased by his parents, John and Velma.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jacqueline; son, Brian Warholak and wife,
Kimberly; daughter, Jennifer Robinson and husband, Daniel; three granddaughters,
Ashlynn Robinson, Elianna Robinson and Linnea Robinson; and a sister, Velma
Warholak, Jr. along with nieces and nephews and loving friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, 2 p.m. at Albert G.
Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.

Lymphoma Society.
