Donald Martin Whitesel

Donald Martin Whitesel, 87, of Mifflintown, entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 25,
2024, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born July 23, 1936, in Licking Creek Valley, Juniata County, he was a son of Martin
Roosevelt and Carrie Melissa (Zimmerman) Whitesel. His wife, Harriet Eleanor (Fuge)
Whitesel, whom he married March 21, 1959, passed away on Oct. 6, 2019. Also
preceding him in death were one sister, Vivian Young and one brother, Victor M.
Whitesel.
He is survived by four children, David E. Whitesel of Dallastown, Joel M. Whitesel
of Columbus, Ohio, Jonelle D. Page of Thompsontown, and Holly W. Sayre of Camp Hill;
two sisters, Joyce Steward and Maxine Varner.
Interment in Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown
