Charles Loraine WAREAM

Charles Loraine Waream, after an illness of five days with Pneumonia, died on 
Tuesday morning, May 15, 1894, at his home in Patterson, aged about 60 years.  
Charles was born in Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA, on November 7, 1842, and is 
survived by his wife, Elizabeth Guss (Kerlin) Waream and son, Harry Edward 
Waream.  Charley was a familiar figure about the Guss and Seiber Hardware Store, 
where he was employed, and will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends.  
He was a member of Victoria Lodge, No. 911, I.O.O.F.

Harry Edward WAREAM

Harry Edward Waream, a resident of Altoona until one month ago, died suddenly at 
12:15 o'clock Wednesday afternoon of a heart ailment, at his summer home in Mill 
Creek.  Mr. Waream retired from the services of the Pennsylvania railroad on 
January 1 of this year as a passenger engineer on the Middle division.  He was 
born in Mifflin on March 26, 1870.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida Mae (Davis) 
Wearam, one daughter, Mrs. Ella Esther Saucerman of the city, five grandchildren 
and three great grandchildren.  He was a member of the B. of L. E. and the 
Altoona Gun Club.  Friends are being received at the Hickey Funeral Home.

WAREAM - The funeral of Harry Edward Waream, who died at Mill Creek, Wednesday, 
will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon with services at the Hickey 
funeral home, 911 Lexington Avenue.  Services in charge of Rev. Raymond C. 
Shindler.  Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery".
