His death was due to the infirmities of old age. He had been confined to the house for seven weeks. Mr. Wilson was a man of wonderful vitality. He was born November 6, 1822 near Lewistown, Mifflin county, Pa. On February 3, 1848 he married Miss Hannah Yeatter of Lewistown. For many years he was a resident of Petersburg, Huntingdon county. He was a mason by trade and followed that occupation until about eleven years ago. Since that time he has been engaged in business with his son, Mac Wilson, at 1303 Eleventh avenue His wife died in 1897. He is survived by the following children: Joseph W., John A., and McClellan of Altoona, William of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Sadie J Glassmyer of Port Clinton, Mrs. Kate Palmer of Philadelphia, Mrs. June Cherry of Wilkinsburg, and Miss Mary E., at home; also one sister Mrs. Catherine Goddard of Philadelphia. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Lutheran church of Petersburg. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Altoona Mirror, Monday, March 20, 1905
