David W. Yoder, 84, of McVeytown, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Geisinger
Medical Center, Danville.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1938 in Belleville to the late Sam C. and Arie (Byler) Yoder.
He is survived by his wife, Sara (Peachey) Yoder, whom he married on October 26,
1961.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Marlin J. Yoder and wife
Julia A. of McVeytown, Marlene J. Yoder at home, Darvin W. Yoder and wife Shana of
Belleville, Loren K. Yoder and wife Mary Ellen of Belleville, Mary Ellen King and
husband Myron of Greencastle; siblings: Beulah Kauffman, Reedsville,, Frances
Kanagy,  Chambersburg, Marlin (Mo) Yoder and wife Karen of Buhler, KS, Raymond Yoder
and wife Nancy of Reedsville, John Yoder and wife Joyce of Buhler, KS.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Anna Hostetler, Mary
Kurtz, Esther Peachey, Elsie Yoder, Samuel (Sonny) Yoder, and Arlene Spicher.
David was a member of Valley View Amish Mennonite Church. 
Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
