Robert G. Yorks

Robert G. Yorks, 93, of Port Royal, passed away at 9:08 AM on Tuesday, January 30,
2024 at his home.
Born Jan 24, 1931 in Lewistown, he is a son of the late Harry J. Yorks and Rosa
(Ebersole) Yorks.
On September 7, 1955, he married his late wife, Shirley A. (Hockenberry) Yorks with
whom he was blessed to share over 64 years of marriage before her passing on
February 16, 2020.

He is survived by a son, Ronald G. Yorks of Mifflintown and five siblings, Dorothy
Sheaffer, Donald Yorks, Ruth Hall, Marjorie Hall and Rosalie Miller.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army.

Interment will be private in the New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
