JANE ELIZABETH YERGER, Wife of Christian Yerger of Lakemont, died as 12:40 o'clock Saturday afternoon, aged 80 years, 2 months and 24 days. Death resulted from valvular disease of the heart and anaemia. The deceased was born near McVeytown, Mifflin county. She was the daughter of Jacob and Susan (Beidelman) Toole. Her father was one of the historical thirteen who participated in Commodore Perry's victory on Lake Erie. She, with her family, moved to Blair county in 1847. Some years afterward she was married to Christian Yerger of Hollidaysburg, who survives her. To this union five children were born, James L., of Altoona, John D., and S. Ellen of Allegheny, Pa., and Mary M. and Annie E., at home. She was a Christian woman of strong convictions, a loving and devoted wife an mother. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Altoona. The body may be viewed by friends this evening, between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Greenwood.
