(Stroudsburg, Pa.) May 27, 1865 Baltimore - May 27 - Yesterday morning Col. Wooley received instructions from the Secretary of War to arrest Mrs. BeverlY Tucker and her daughter, Miss Maggie Tucker and Mrs. McGill, who were arrested here at an early hour on the steamer for Richmond. The ladies named were arrested as ordered, and placed in Barr's Hotel, corner of Camden Eutaw streets, under guard, and at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, they were sent back to Richmond, by the bay Line steamer. Mrs. Tucker is the wife of Beverly Tucker, late of the Rebel Government in Richmond, and who is now in Canada, charged with being one of the plotters in the assassination of the President.
