Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1853-1911: July 27, 1876
In Paradise township July 20, 1876, Jacob Coffman, aged 69 years, 5 months and 10
days. He was soundly converted to God in 1850, and for 26 years has been a very
faithful and consistent member of the Albright Church...His funeral on Saturday was
very largely attended. The sermon was preached by Rev. E. L. Martin, after which his
pastor, Rev. J. W. Woerhle, spoke in German in reference to his life.
