Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1840-1853: January 13, 1848
At his residence at Dingman's Choice, on Thursday the 6th inst., at the age of 32
years, 4 months and three days, Daniel W. Dingman, Jr., after a painful illness of
53 hours. By this afflicting dispensation of an All-wise Providence, the venerable
parents, heart-broken wife, fatherless children, and other friends of the deceased
are called to mourn his early death and separation from them, whilst the community
in which he lived, of which he was a useful and universally esteemed member, has
lost one of its brightest ornaments...
