Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1853-1911: November 12, 1868
In Middle Smithfield, on Sunday morning, the 8th inst., John Michael, jr., aged 51
years, 9 months and 21 days. In the death of Mr. Michael, the community has lost a
valued citizen, the church an exemplary christian, the wife an honored husband, and
the children, of whom he left three daughters and seven sons, a kind and
affectionate father.
